I've be a regular nostradamus lately regarding markets.
I'm the Cre of finances.
ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh nostradamus was wrong about a majority of shit so I don't know if that's the type of comparison you want to be making. I think he had a tiny pecker too, just what I've heard. I know it, you know it, everyone knows it. Great people though, just lovely people.

What about oil stocks now that they are in the shitter? Watching APA.
I'd focus on the big boys if you feel like jumping in. With prices this low many companies won't survive it. Nobody knows the exact number, but it's said that oil needs to be around $40/bbl before anyone makes money. I think we'll be below that for quite a while, so it's the companies with the big pockets that will weather the storm.

It was probably too early, but I bought in to XOM at $40

One of my "fuck it" biotech stocks I bought for under $1 jumped 25% today.

I have no idea why.

Yo guys, what's up.
Just sold a bigger chunk of my ETF on the Dax (like the German Dow Jones).

I don't trust this current situation.

My worries are that state money in all regions of the world is keeping the prices up nicely, but once Q2 numbers are reported and in Q3 we are sitting in lockdown as well, people start shitting their pants. Rightfully so.

I might focus more on individual titles, though.

Broader indexes (like Dow) when global lockdown ends and people are immune / no big wave in winter expected. Or when I'm proven wrong and China's numbers are correct and all countries are cured by miracles as well. I personally would prefer that, I want this to go away.

On a personal note, I'm really curious how the EU is gonna take this situation and make themselves even more aloof from the people.

Nice!
some time ago, news came out, that BOSCH was working on a quick test for Corona. It is a huge conglomerate and they have a car supply division in the Indian Stock Exchange. Nothing to do with the medical division, but the name "Bosch" printed onto the stock. Of course, the title made a big jump the next day :D
I couldn't order the Indian stock. Would have been a predictable fun trade.

Boeing on sale again. Down 5% on the day and 16% on the week.

Hit $128 then bounced to $130
Previous support level was around $134. I'd like to see it close around there.

Motherfucker.
Put a stop loss sell order in on that biotech. I felt it went up too fast in two days on zero news.

It was at $2.70. I set the stop loss at $2.50
So it falls to $2.50, then shoots back up to $2.70

So now I'm out. I made 50% in about a month, but now I'm kicking myself.

Oh well. That method has saved my ass way more than it has hurt me.

Never second guess your stops. It likely had buy orders sitting where your stop order was. Next time it falls it will likely fall through that to the next support level. The buys won't be there.
When I first started I got burned w that. I'd take my stops out and try to wing it. Then it would go crashing through support.

It closed just a little bit down today.
Still higher than what I sold at but that's OK.
