No, we have states deciding over school this and restaurant that... lock-down means don't get out of your house or get arrested or fined.
The lack of testing in the states if anything is eye opening. Maybe not a complete lockdown, but I could see closed borders. Nobody in nobody out. Non essential businesses closed.

I stand corrected....

They really did an amazing job. Very smart testing. But they have a huge china link and lessons learned from SARS. So they have the infrastructure.

But S korea is our model. Kind of ramped up and then showed how to turn the ship with services coming on line. They are also bigger so showed they can do large scale testing a huge ramp up of services on that scale.

I must agree. Then again, in big cities we may see people forced being kept inside.

At this point, other than hot bed areas, borders aint doing shit. The case load is going to come from within in 2 weeks.
The flight blocks early on help to slow things and are good. At some point the acceleration comes domestically where even an extra external patient mathematically doesn't matter.

We are 300million. We will soon be a bigger threat to Canada and Mexico just due to exponential growth and our pop size.

Why not let anyone who wants to leave kick rocks? If borders are on lockdown, I'd think the only thing a country would have concern with is incoming traffic.

i fuckin hate this country sometimes
We absolutely love this shit jason73 @jason73 as you know. If you want to get elected in Canada you better be fluent in nu speak gobbledygook that guys my age can't decipher or you'll stand no chance. Canadians would elect a mannequin if it had good hair and talked a bunch of nu speak gobbledygook..

Wait a minute...

Again FDA and CDC seem to be a huge bottleneck...
Agreed. They screwed it up big time, but don't let washington off the hook. What is the process to force a move by these two? I'm sure it could be done.
