I just think it would suck to give something to somebody knowing that there is a small chance they could have a bad reaction(a reaction that could be more easily predictable with more research into specific genetic markers)...That is what that doctor believes and has been studying.
Everything in science is probability. The humility of science should require caveats! Right now in the undifferentiated population vaccines are less dangerous than the disease.
No one doubts we could then risk stratify patients beyond that but that doesn't exist yet. So we choose the odds of protection against harm.
As we develop assays, we might find people that need no vaccine or different vaccines.

Dr/Marine/Disease researcher says...

Neanderthal Gene carriers are in much less danger...the neanderthal gene map matches up with the outbreak map...East Europe, Asia and Iran do not have this gene for the most part so it hits hard there.

He thinks China be lying about the numbers by a good amount.

Made in a lab no doubt...likely from somebody working on/with Sars.

Not attacking/attaching/or somethinging protien yet...which is good...if it does we Die.

Lots of other good stuff science wise and historical wise regarding DNA and whatnot.

Some political speculation, both China and US related(that is mostly by Pat Miletich and his co Host Jeff)

It will likely not go away with nice weather.

Pardon my summary, I am not a doctor...I probably got some of it wrong.

fair enough, good answer

This doctor thinks a test should be made before taking that risk

I don't blame docs

Ya
this is a pretty good podcast
plenty of science...and some good speculation as well
Anybody got that neanderthal gene? U will be glad you do if so.

I recommend for anybody interested in this topic and what the future holds for us regarding this topic.
Give it a listen sparkuri @sparkuri, I think you will like it.
Good stuff, a few of these points I've been preaching elsewhere, namely Trump, currency, & mass innoc.
Nh-nod interests me.

Ya
that guy has some good stuff
Nh-nod is interesting
and the possibility that somebody walking around has a cure for cancer that could be replicated, and that entire train of thought for other applications/problems...Lot more to learn no doubt.

Lots of interesting thoughts and info

I liked the political theories as well

Coronavirus: dog of Hong Kong Covid-19 patient tests ‘weak positive’ for virus
  • More tests will be conducted to see if the dog had really been infected with the virus or a result of environmental contamination of its mouth and nose
  • The World Health Organisation says there is no evidence that companion animals or pets can be infected with the coronavirus

sparkuri @sparkuri
Plug it in.
Cdc is being controlled by trump and minimizing the disease? Trump should expand it but can't? What's happening in your view there with CDC testing criteria?
What's happening Splinty @Splinty , is this was figured out before it happened imo, there's already a "vaccine", the game is being played out, and milked.

There gonna try to catch-22 Trump & weaken his Presidency before the election(but mainly position), they're gonna attack paper currency, they're gonna continue to praise & encourage 5g without magnetbiological studies or funding, and they're going to mass inoculate if it goes that far.
If it doesn't this time, they'll hit it harder next time with the next super-ultra virus or catastrophe.
How many movies & books could we pick from?

The guy I listened to today says it is passable by animals and possibly insects(bloodsuckers)..he had a term for it, but I don't remember...zoosomethingsomething

I think everyone will probably be exposed to it in time,

This is why I found Plummer dying so timely.
Reports were flowing that Covid-19 had HIV notes, the HIV vaccine was waiting in the wings, and all his recent research regarding it surrounded immune sex workers; blood attributes.
His work was Tesla'd.

Clinical trials for novel coronavirus vaccine will take place at Seattle research institute

The first clinical trials for a vaccine targeting the new coronavirus will take place at the Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute in Seattle.

The vaccine for the virus known as SARS-CoV-2, and the subsequent disease called COVID-19, was developed by Massachusetts-based biotechnology company Moderna, which is one of many companies working to create a vaccine.

It isn’t yet known when the trials will begin, but once they do it could take 13 months and will include 45 healthy people between the ages of 19 and 55, said Linnae Riesen, a spokesperson for Kaiser Permanente Washington. If the initial trial is successful, researchers would move on to a second phase called an efficacy trial, which would involve thousands of people. Results wouldn’t be known for many months.

While a vaccine probably won’t be ready for the general public for more than a year, it’s still important to forge ahead because the virus could become seasonal like the flu, said Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, during a White House news conference Wednesday.

“If that is the case, we hope to have a vaccine,” he said.

Kaiser’s Seattle research institute was chosen as a trial site because it is one of nine National Institutes of Health (NIH) designated Vaccine and Treatment Evaluation Units (VTEU). The Kaiser institute has been a VTEU since 2007.

Other local efforts to develop a vaccine are also ongoing: HDT Bio is working on a vaccine with PAI Life Sciences, InBios International and the University of Washington School of Medicine. HDT and its partners started working on a vaccine once the virus’ genome sequence was shared by Chinese scientists last month. Animal trials have taken place and the vaccine could be ready for human clinical trials in the next couple of months, said Steven Reed, HDT’s CEO

I remember when mad cow disease was causing fear from everyone purchasing/eating meat.

Media and websites LOVE to get views and using a story like this is the jackpot for them.

Can humans be smart?
Have humans done incredible things in history?
Have humans made incredible advances in medical field?

327 million people currently in the US.
60 people as of today have the virus in the US.

Quit playing into their fears.

I would watch the video right above your post.^^^
It's impossible that only 60 people have Corona in the U.S.
There's been less than 500 tests completed.
S.Korea does more testing in a day.
The U.S. will have confirmed hundreds of cases as soon as they actually test, likely thousands. This will be evident looking back every week.
This is HIGHLY contagious.
