I don’t believe we are at 70% statewide. I don’t believe Multnomah county has even achieved that. Last I checked, statewide, we were at 57%.

Lane county is like 69% or something so not 70 but damn close...I wasn't referring to the whole state.

Just making the point that a high rate isn't stopping spread or hospitalizations.

I'm referring to adults only, not total population including children.

I will get one, just like I would choose to get a smallpox vaccine or a polio vaccine.

Sydney has half-assed its lockdown, so that's why it failed. I think the failure of the Melbourne lockdown is a) Delta is just that good at what it does and b) lockdown fatigue/vaccination impact on behavior. Some people don't give a fuck any more because they are vaccinated, others are just over it.

As for 70%, who knows? We're sandwiched between Mexico and Colombia right now.

I would like to ask him questions about the opinions that he chooses to post. As he is more than welcome to ask me questions about any of the stances that I espouse.

If he can't stand to have people to question anything that he posts, then don't join a discussion forum. Start a fucking Substack blog.
