From the Article

"Turinabol takes several months to clear an athlete’s system and is not something that can easily
be cycled, according to Novitzky, so Jones would have to be the biggest moron on the UFC roster (plausible),
or get mixed up with some shady supplements (probable)"

Yeah Jon would have to show very moronic behavior to be that reckless. Like if he hit a pregnant lady
and ran from the scene... then ran back to get his weed pipe. Or if he showed other reckless behavior like
doing coke a week before his fight or if he did something else reckless like drinking and driving and wrapping
a Bentley around a telephone pole.

Cmon guys... Jon has not shown any of that type of moronic behavior.

If moronic behavior doesn't fit you must acquit!
yes but it was not tested for often...was considered an outdated steroid because of the long detection period

was an old school drug that the new school testing was not looking for IMO

Jon hid from tests under ring...he cheated before(dick pills excuse is a joke)...also used coke days before fight(or even day before or day of)

USADA wanted this dude and he was so reckless he got himself caught.....again.....and again....and again...

not a good sign...dude is loco and sick in the head IMO

This could be a case study in setting strategy. Jones and his camp deliberately inject him with Turinabol knowing that Novitzky or some other expert will come forward and say exactly what Novitzky said today, that nobody is foolish enough to abuse this particular drug intentionally. Then Jones gets off the hook after cheating.

Masterfully executed, Bones!!!

All seriousness though, it makes no sense. He either took some tainted shit, or is the dumbest athlete ever.
thats why I think he didn't intentionally take it. You can't be that stupid and run through the LHW division like it's nothing

LOL so I guess foolishness is now a valid excuse for PEDs

I really think rogan and UFC are spinning a web about jon and his failed tests....JRE has featured too much BS about him each time he fails for a PED

what better way to spin public opinion other than propagandize the #1 podcast of a MMA commentator?

Sorry UFC/usada...not buying your horshit

unless you were taking a roid that gave you aggression and late cardio

so dick pills and then he got dosed with a PED?

sorry not buying it bru

Here is Alpaca Thesaurus, aka Courvoisier the Goddamn Newt, & what he calls "The Jon Jones Steroid Confession Explained". The Couv did a body language analysis of Jones's FS1 interview, right after beating Cormier at UFC 214.

Bottom line: I think Jones took Turinabol on purpose. I don't think it was dick pills or tainted supplements. The video also points out mannerisms that always made me think Jones was full of shit & a terrible liar. The comments make some good points, too:

Also don't forget Jon always said he didn't wanna move up to heavyweight because of the size and strength discrepancy he'd be at with some of those guys. Then all of a sudden after destroying Cormo Cormier's world he calls out the biggest, strongest, most steroided heavyweight of all time in Brock Lesnar. This makes no sense unless Jon now felt like these factors were no longer an issue for him, which can only be explained by Bonny Jones going through a 'personal change' of some kind.

I found it odd or too coincidental that USADA flagged him under his previous suspension for clomid, a drug to help stop your endocrine system from crashing post steroid cycle; and near the same time one of his brothers was flagged in the NFL for the same. Your direction of looking at his brothers is a smart step in the puzzle.

+Arlo Haggard | Don't forget, he also tested positive for Letrozole, which is often times used to treat Gynecomastia in steroid-users. And the penis pill that Jones pointed the blame at also contained an additional banned substance which Jones did not test positive for, which makes me think that Jones didn't even ingest said penis pill in the first place. Lastly, on the same invoice for the penis pill, there was also an order for clomiphene. Jones was guilty of PEDs long before he failed the drug test in his rematch against Cormier.
