It's a tough call from that angle. I thought it hit him more on the ear/lower jaw than the back of the head. I can see the argument after watching it a few times. But this is a fight, and that's calling it REALLY close. So no, doesn't taint it at all. Fair & square win to me
This was my thoughts, there is enough element of doubt, as to whether it hit that small strip at the back of the head, to give Crocop the benefit of it.

Didn't Herb Dean describe it as if you had headphones on... it would be the area outside of the headphones? that seems a lot different from the 1" rule.

Yeah I mentioned that earlier in the thread. I think either herb just kind of made that up or: maybe the rules weren't always so defined? Maybe it isn't defined in some countries and Herb would prefer that to the written ruleset of the NSAC above?
Either way,its not accurate for Nevada or anyone following their ruleset
