Deadpool marketing

This movie was not for me. Good action, the fights were well choreographed. Colossus was cool. I liked Carano's character plus she was hawt.
That was about all I came away liking. I'm interested to see who plays cable in the sequel.

I'm sooo late on this thread, but I just watched this movie. Being a Deadpool fan since the beginning, I loved this movie. It was done perfectly. They even broke the fourth and allowed Mr. Pool to brilliantly drop subtle jokes about Ryan Reynolds and the X-Men movie universe.

I figured it would be entertaining, but it exceeded my expectations. I hope the next one is as good or better.

By the way, I heard a rumor that Stephan Lang is the leading candidate to play Cable. What do you guys think?

I like Cable but I don't know if he will be a big enough draw to get me to a Deadpool sequel.
I think Lang would be a good fit. I'm guessing movie Cable won't be as bulky as he is in the comic books.

I hate you didn't have much fun with the movie. I can definitely see how it's not for everyone though. Deadpool, as a comic character in general, is pretty much the same way. Most of friends growing up were either Deadpool fans, or they hated him.

My only concern with Lang is that I never saw Cable as being that old. I know he had white hair, but that's indicative of age when it comes to the comics.

I like Deadpool is small doses. I had a feeling going in this would be too much for me but I gave it a shot anyway.
The action and fight scenes were great! A few things I liked.
Like I said before I wouldn't turn anyone away from seeing it, it just wasn't for me.

I had to google him, but i recognized him from Avatar once i saw the picture. He'd probably do decently.

I was always under the impression that his armor just covered him and didn't bulk him up like the hulk.
I guess I'm just thinking of the 90's cartoon.

He was 6'6" normally. Iirc the cartoon showed him grow as he armored up too. Let me check.
 
Hindsight is 20/20 and looking at this thread having already watched the film, so much doubt for a world record breaking film. I think my favorite part is when he looks at his X-Men origins deadpool action figure and references it being his most prized possession. Cause c'mon, this movie could have been entirely consisting of poop jokes and still would have been better than that.
