When your muscle mass inhibits your speed, it is time to make an intelligent trade off and reduce your muscle mass in some areas, increase it in the areas that will allow you to be faster.
Best of luck in your training.

For me, there's always been two kinds of heavyweights.

Very big men who're athletic.

Big men who're fat.

The former are killers. Cain. Werdum.
The latter are just willing, and imposing. Nelson. Abbot.

I think those are the "true" heavyweights. There are a lot of muscled out dudes who aren't that "athletic" but have had success with outmuscling their competition. I see a definite lack of technique and speed when there's a match between those two. Maybe I'm just being critical today. Anyhow, gotta get out for the evening. No beer emoji?
