Next is Bidwell an infamous satellite suburb of Mount Druitt, its really weird here one suburb will be young families who do okay for themselves, hard working, honest family people then a block over you have Bidwell and others, Heavily populated by Pacific Islanders, I have family here and played there as a kid but a male between early teens to middle age doesnt want to get caught alone here at night

Google Maps
Is Bidwell worse than Mount Druitt itself or Rooty Hill? I've been to those places.

C @Crocopsleftfoot

I see the Dublin mountains in the background . The estate looks just like Kilbarrack or Coolock . Treaty urban planning by to Dublin Corporation

Yep one of the few saving graces was we could be in them hills in 30 minutes. The corporation and they're planning, I remember when Mary's shop was a truck (semi) trailer until she built an extension onto her house, a trailer like, for 400 houses madness. None of the estates there were built with shops any shops there are are converted houses.
Don't forget the Chipper vans

I showed my cousin who grew up out there this thread and he rightly pointed out that Im thinking of Shalvey not Bidwell, Bidwell was bad but not so much these days.

To answer your question in terms of worse I think its Bidwell > Mount Druitt (which theres old and New) > Rooty HIll

Mount Druitt is often used as an umbrella term for that general area cause no one used to know of the other suburbs around there, 20 odd years ago many of them were farms and acreages.

Jesus, the US has 300,000,000 people Ill give them a pass for having some ghettos but you guys have 35,000 and places just as bad as their ghettos? WTF happened? shitty governance?
they give them free methadone and have a needle exchange down there. they also have the a govt run shooting gallery with nurses handing out free kits to the junkies.they have a crackpipe vending machine down there too.vancouver has a mild climate so junkies from all over canada flock to the lower east side.it is better for them than trying to shoot up in an alley in winnipeg when it is -47

Peckham is probably the worst

Had the pleasure of living in Tulse Hill for about a year with my uni friends Triple shooting on Tulse Hill Estate as gun fired into group of people

The day we moved in there was a shooting.

Hayes, Brixton, Croydon, Tottenham and Hackney are honorable mentions.

We had neighbors from Milwall (sp?) Years ago and they were the most uncouth racist inbred cunts ever.

Daily domestic violence, their mid 40s dad would call a black peick when I was 7 years old. Told my mum they escaped England to get away from pakis and their food so we needed to stop cooking curry.

One dad my dad belted their old man really badly and they left us alone and moved shortly after.

Yh that's another one...not that bad tho as some of the other ones can be..but, at least in London, the council housing and the gentrification that tends to follow it constantly change those areas. I keep hearing Brixton is on the up..but a friend of mine's brother just run into a gang there called (I'm not even kidding) "The Brixton Massive".

There's a few skinheads, kinda always has been although they get a bit more courage and exposure with the current state of Europe. I don't understand shitty people like that..but on a more local level, what kind of idiot goes on to his neighbour to demand them not to eat curry XD Fucking dumb bully, I'm glad your pop put him in his place. Hopefully they moved to the desert, got a tan and shot themselves.

Their kids were cool, the daughter was in my class in year 2, just the parents and a much older half brother who gave me a whipping with a coat hanger when I went into their front garden to get my rugby ball once.

Was a pretty well to do area too, not sure how they managed to live their unless they were renting/.

I'm in Haledon/Paterson, NJ. I thought it sucks here but after seeing some of these shitholes it doesn't look so bad to me now haha.

Paterson still sucks though!
