Again, stop trying to troll here, Royce was 40 then, he wasn't training with his family anymore at that time, he was returning to fighting after a long layoff and back injury, he made a stupid decision to try and stay relevant.
When Helio was alive, running the shop over all the Gracie kids and the family legacy, Royce was not doing steroids, stop trolling
I'm not trying to make u mad mate. He ruined his legacy and you can assume he was clean all you like, he's obviously demonstrated a willingness to cheat and been caught for it, it raises the question as to wether or not it was the first time.

To say that Royce's WHOLE legacy is tainted because when he was a returning fighter in his 40's who ONE TIME wanted an advantage, it means that when he was in his mid 20's he had to as well is just stupid..... I don't always agree with what Royce has done or said, that year he did that shit, it was an awkward December when we all sat around talking at our team dinner (The fucking elephant in that room), but to question his whole legacy and contribution to the sport/art because of that one instance of an old man trying to stay young.... Either a troll job or ignorance..... Which is it?

Alistair wasn't fighting professionally in the mid 90's during the first UFC's, he was widely known to be taking steroids throughout his whole career...... Royce popped once when he was 40 after trying to make a comeback, and trying to put on muscle and weight (look at him in those weigh in photos, you could tell). Royce made a mistake, I am not denying or dismissing that he did, but to question if he was taking steroids during the first 4 UFC events because he tested positive one time when he was 40 is stupid.
It wouldn't even be a question if he hadn't got caught. I wouldn't be willing to bet my life that he hadn't done it before. And that's all I'm saying.
