What year were you born?
I'm early 70 (class of 88).
My step brother was late 69.
He had it, I don't

It was hit and miss for kids my age, all the older kids had them and I don't recall any younger kids having the scar.
It was so normal I figured this was just another thing my hippie parents didn't take me to.
You're the same age as my sister and she doesn't have it either.

No. At least 1/2 the kids at my school did though. Born in ‘77. Class of ‘95
Wonder if they showed the propensity, or whatever word im looking for, for small pox ? I can't remember what it's called but once it was eradicated they just started testing us for the immunity, or something like that.

My understanding everyone got the shot back then, but not everyone got the scar. The scar was from your immune system and how hard it attacked the vaccine which caused bigger blistering during the healing process.

Likely from not being born in the US. Farming town in the Central Valley of CA. Was about 70-80% Hispanic when I was growing up, now it’s likely over 90%
