If you remember Smiff, he freezes tons of cooked meat especially brisket and it still looks great after a reheat. He does the zap boiler, though but you can also just warm it up with some butter or water in a crockpot. That's how I used to do it.

The frozen corned beef would just go into the pot on stove on low under water or broth for low long heat, cooked the last one on low for 13 hours and it is perfect. It was 4.5 lbs.
I thought it was precooked. Is it just prepped but still raw? Maybe, someone can advise you if cooking or smoking it and storing it that way would prolong it's expiration date.
