Soooooo still no one white ladies. Just inter-asian nuance.
That's my experience Splinty. They aren't really Asian, they are American as in growing up in US. They are saying things alot more nicely.

As I said I really enjoy learning about the other point of view. I hope you understand that I don't have the view that you do because I only chatted to other Asians and friendly white people. I never had racist grandmother' to tell me their thoughts. Please don't get offended, my view is not an isolated one as you can see 5 Asian Americans pretty much saying the same thing.

I have a very tiny Vietnamese friend with a very tiny wife and a very tiny child all of whom I miss dearly. That’s as close as I can get.

I make amazing authentic Chinese food when I put my mind to it though.

One of my grandma was the nicest woman ever, never said a bad word about anyone. Not Chinese not Japanese. The other never said bad words per se but she lived in early Seoul (gone after war) and there they did see alot Chinese immigrants and there was alot of racism. She told me about that racism but she never said anything racist per se.

Like I said, to your American perspective my opinion may come off racist but like the video I posted with the 5 Asian American kids, they said mostly everything I said and they are not nearly as isolationist as mainlanders so I hope you understand that these are widely held generalizations among Asians and not just some kooky thoughts I came up with on my own.

Hmm how about lucky-money? Every holiday or special event the in-laws hand me red packets full of money. I just got 2 packets today for Chinese New Years, they gave me two, the wife two, our daughter two and our dog one. Plus all the aunts and uncles give me packets of money as well. It is pretty friggin sweet, the best part is they are all well off so it can add up.

I know some other Asian cultures do something similar though I think.
