Feel free to qualify your response but there's no need to.

Im doing an experiment of sorts, we mainly have US, Canadia and UK folk here.

I predict the Canadian posters have the greatest amount of trust in their government followed by the Americans with UK posters being the least trusting in their's.

Happy to be proven wrong.

Thanks

I'm an American. I feel patriotic. But I don't trust our current government at all. I don't believe anything. I want to. I don't agree or think Trump can do all that he says he wants to. But I think he will shake things up enough to make America Great Again......

If a politician is addressing the masses, it's purely to manipulate and deceive them.

Same

I've seen a lot of sad shit, I buy into some conspiracy stuff mostly the shit with proof. But the truth is a lot worse. The things our gov't blatantly does and gets away with is truly saddening.

Biggest thing that pisses me off about the government are the roads around China lake. Fucking terrible quality. Kept smashing my 350z all over town.

I can never trust the government after that

To somewhat qualify my response, aside from all the obvious examples of our government lying to us, there was a proposal here to make lying in Parliament illegal. It was met with extreme condemnation by both sides.

Deals are done in back rooms and there's absolutely no telling their number and the scope of their effects. Politicians should be under CONSTANT scrutiny and guilty until proven innocent.

No, not really. The problem is that most of our government is bought and paid for by the wealthy. They aren't there to serve the general public. They are there to serve special interest.

voted, sometimes.

i agree that all gov't is not to be trusted. as posted above, they do not serve the general public.

as a long time member of the working class I feel like nothing more than a source of revenue for our politicians and all their hidden agendas.
