Yep. But OP said "Tell me the fastest cars I could buy for under or around 50k."

I could build a faster car for $5,000, depending on how much needs to be upgraded. I built up a 360ci from a short block, added a big cam, ported aluminum heads and 750cfm carb and it dynoed at 447 horsepower.

Just get a 95 240sx with an S15 front end, put a carburated 5.0 in it.

I appreciate the plus's people but I really wasn't trying to be funny, well maybe a lil bit. I really have that money pit. Do we have anybody else who drifts? Or has cool ass RWD cars? I know I'm to old for this shit but fuck it, I never had time till now. I Am a Nissan/Datsun fan. Is anyone else? Crickets i bet haha.

So I found out what happened to my car.


Recently it was in a crash (my girlfriend crashed it in the rain and bent the rear right wheel/ rods inwards) well it took 29 days to get back. When I got it back first thing I noticed (apart from my sub stopped working) was my fuel warning light was in yet it said my range was 127 miles. I put it down to the fact it was sat a month, put some gas in it (around half a tank)

On Friday afternoon I went for a drive and noticed the Guage was still sitting around half a tank and wondered if something was up, on the return leg though it started going down as expected and I thought nothing more of it.

Long story short I ran out of fucking gas. Had 197 mile range indicated (there's 2 fuel probes, if one breaks it reads an average and tends to sit around halfway)

Having spent the month driving some faggy rental car I forgot how much gas I usually use.

Nissan only discovered this after they tore my whole car to pieces investigating what was up and now gotta go through the whole insurance dick dance again to get I fixed.

Best part is last week after I got my car back I told my buddy it read 127 mile range while saying I was almost out, he (ex mechanic) mentioned if it was bad they would have to remove the tank to fix it, I joked nah fuck that I'll just fill it up every couple days so I know it's good.

this was my daily driver from the ages of 16 - 21. to this day one of my favorite cars. mine was not in that great of shape, nothing worked except the engine and drivetrain were mint. bought it for $2500. drove that bitch everywhere, even in the dead of winter lol.

I dunno. Now I think about it I diddnt really know them. It was a pilot on a sqn I was on used to drive it to work every now and then
