We have 2 fighters on different trajectories.

Chael Sonnen coming off a big win over Wanderlei Silva.

Fedor Emialeanenko coming off yet another devastating loss to a fighter not in the top 10 of his own weight class.

Obviously Fedor would never move to a different weight class to challenge himself so the fight would have to be at HW.

Does Chael have what it takes to withstand Fedors initial onslaught?

Can Fedor withstand Chaels ferocious GNP and stay concious long enough to get his hand raised?

Fedor has shown an inability in the past to deal with the Team Quest heavy hitters without either getting slept or employing devious tactics to eek out a W.

This fight is very interesting IMO. Who takes it?
 
Chael doesnt get the takedown and looks frustrated. Fedor barely clips him and chael goes down and taps to strikes

Then fails a piss test
 
That overhand right that dropped Anderson Silva in the first round of their first fight would clean KO Fedor at this point.
 
Chael has pillow fists and fedor still has enough chin to withstand chaels best punch. Lets not confuse mitrione or even Maldonados power with chaels power. Wandy rocked chael with every punch fedor would take off chaels clean off.

As far as grappling goes fedor would stuff chael 4/5 tds imo. Fedor owns chael in every aspect of a fight and i like both equally but chael is no match. Ill delete my TMMAC account if chael beats fedor. Even liddell brutally KOs chael. The west linn steroid user needs to chill and call out someone he could beat. Maybe mayhem miller

very surprised if chael can take Fedor down...and I would expect an armbar if that happened
and We know standing it is a no chance for CS
Fedor still has huge power and without heavy hands he is a real tough out
