You have to check the label carefully. Some products are "dehancers"---they put them on the "antisupplement" shelf, always near the front of the store. See, that's how they trick you.
Frank has always been one of my favorite fighters. After shaving I still do the Frank Mir checking of his cheeks after the Tank Abbot fight to show that he wasn't touched move. He does come off as a douche though, and his TUF showing gave me douche chills at times, but I'll always root for him. That being said, if he was on anything for that last fight he clearly did it wrong. The guy was fat, slow, and had a full on dad bod. How in the hell are you going to test positive when you look like shit?

He might have achieved that state from an even worse one. Frank has been fighting a long ass time, been knocked out a lot. His body's been dragged through hell. So, it's possible the PED's got him functional enough to fight, without actually making him physically impressive. He might be beyond the stage where any PED's will work that well for him, at least at moderate doses.

So you think anyone in violation of USADA tests can simply contaminate an open supplement and get a pass? You don't think USADA would attempt to obtain a shelf ersion, still sealed, and test that (or several), prior to rendering their decision? Again, I'm not a bright guy, but I'd think it would be a bit harder to plead your case than simply tainting a single supplement jar that is already open.
They tested more than just the bottle of supplements Romero was using. USADA then gets a random bottle directly from the manufacturer and tests to see if it's contaminated with the same shit that Romero popped for.
That doesn't prove that the one you got wasn't contaminated. Different batches made at different times might have been contaminated. Hell, even the first few from a batch maybe different to the last few if the machine isn't cleaned properly.

USADA has a lab purchase the supplement and independently test it....they dont just take your batch.....that would be stupid....you never put the defense in charge of excupatory evidence.....ask they guys who prosecuted OJ.....
Honestly... I think he really did need the TRT. WHY he needed TRT (past 'roid usage) is not what I'm saying, but I'm saying his body probably DID need the TRT.
Also, I agree with this completely. Frank's douchy and probably not a nice person IRL, but I have enjoyed his fights, I respect his ability, and he has been very important to rounding out the game of the HW division (he was doing subs as a HW when all that weight class was was two bulking guys swinging for the fences)

I always liked Mir and its a shame he can't really have the opportunity to compete in his full potential..crazy how he can just stop fighting and be a better and healthier "fighter" walking the streets than in the cage. Its especially sad for a vet who doesn't really have that many options left. He probably should retire and go to Rizin or something..I dunno..I'm bummed out with this. Does USADA always say "potential" PED violation? First time I heard that was with Romero...might be wrong though.
I agree with you that he would do well commentating, he has done exceptional in the past, I think he would fit in better, maybe not live events but on a show like UFC tonight or ESPN ,breaking down fights and previewing match ups something to that extent . He has a wealth of knowledge and is very well spoken , I think he would serve well in that compactly. I'm a huge fan of Mir and I really don't want to see him KO'd anymore. Its on to the #UFCHoF

If old school guys, who've obviously been using throughout their career, are taking headliners for $$ when they know a flag equals a year, we'll see those guys fight once a year, get their payday, do their time, next.....
