Price of oil when he tapped the brakes:Remember when Trump cut domestic oil production? Y’all are still feeling the ripples of those domestic reductions.
Negative $30 bbl
So yeah. Exact same thing as what we are dealing with now.

That’s right it’s not the same, this issue is being felt around the world.. as opposed to the domestic cuts that were only felt in America.Price of oil when he tapped the brakes:

We were exporting oil. So yeah, our supply had an effect on the overall market. That’s right it’s not the same, this issue is being felt around the world.. as opposed to the domestic cuts that were only felt in America.
I do. Hence why I can’t understand how you blame 46 for the current global gas issues when he is topping out the domestic supply. We were exporting oil. So yeah, our supply had an effect on the overall market.
Serious question that isn't meant to belittle: Do you understand what a commodity is and how markets work?
I don't solely blame 46. He shares the blame. As do world events outside of his control.I do. Hence why I can’t understand how you blame 46 for the current global gas issues when he is topping out the domestic supply.
Or you’re an old man refusing to accept change. The Dems as a hole have put the cart in front of the horse when it comes to clean energy.
Very narrow perspective sirOr you’re an old man refusing to accept change.
Many to most car companies have stated they would phase out gas cars by the end of the decade… that’s 7 years away.
good luck if you need repairs or get into an accident as well, most shops are not trained or equipped to repair EV's or hybrids safelyBasically just need to hope that there’s nobody ahead of you at the charging station.
This isn’t true.good luck if you need repairs or get into an accident as well, most shops are not trained or equipped to repair EV's or hybrids safely
That's OK. Dealer's usually charge fairly. LMAO.good luck if you need repairs or get into an accident as well, most shops are not trained or equipped to repair EV's or hybrids safely

Talk about gouging.
There is no way we will be ready for that. The infrastructure alone to facilitate enough charging stations - in cities, suburbs, rural and middle-of-nowhere highway runs - will take longer than that.Or you’re an old man refusing to accept change.

I just went through 3 days of no power after a storm. Glad I have a combustible engine.Or you’re an old man refusing to accept change.

In one breath you say Biden is moving too fast.. in the next you say America won’t be able to meet car manufacturers plans and resulting consumer demands. There is no way we will be ready for that. Combustible engines will be phased out. But that's an important word - they need to be phased out. Not forced out with an arbitrary deadline date or intentional hardships on the consumer.
What's driving the car manufacturer's plans?.

Just because electric vehicles are being phased in doesn’t mean gas or combustible engines are going to be strictly prohibited in a time of need eg. Generator during outages… or that old farm truck.I just went through 3 days of no power after a storm. Glad I have a combustible engine.
We are going through a heat wave in the midwest and the news is saying we should expect rolling blackouts.
I guess everyone needs to get a diesel powered generator so they can be sure to charge their electric car in times of need.
Yes many have stated they would stop producing gas cars by 2030What's driving the car manufacturer's plans?
