The TGL (Tomorrow's Golf League) looks so awesome. It was founded by Tiger and Rory, and many of the investors are athletes.

I'm assuming this idea spawned from LIV and the PGA fucking the players with mismanagement (which pissed off Rory), coupled with Tiger realizing he's still got the talent to compete but can't handle walking 72 holes in 4 days.

I would love to play at something like this. Hopefully it is eventually expanded to public-use facilities. With the surrounding area serving drinks and food like Top Golf - and maybe those bays have their own simulators. But then everyone can watch the competitors at center stage. So much potential.

So basically it's a regular simulator, except you tee off from actual grass on the tee box and the screen is huge (64' x 53')
Then, depending on where your drive went, you either hit your 2nd shot from the fairway, rough or sand.
You continue until you get into the "green area" which included an entire green and the immediate area around it. The green has the ability to rotate 360 degrees, and under the green there are jacks that undulate to create different breaks.

A green surrounded by bunkers that deep is nightmare fuel.

Crying uncle on his 9th shot and getting it back to the fairway with a straight approach was the right call.
LOL @ the announcer saying "That's not even where the pin is. Why'd he go out that way?" Bruh - were you not watching this shit?

But then he got too aggressive again and sent it back into the basin of death. Brutal.

How the fuck do you mentally come back from that
He entered that hole -6 for the tournament.
He scored a 13 on this par 5, then the next hole plunked 2 balls in the water to triple-bogey a Par 3.

But he settled down and birdied 6 of the last 7 holes. Ended up finishing even par.

His interview after the match:
“Golf is a lot like life, there’s adversity. As a player, a student of the game and a person of life, it’s not about dwelling on adversity,” he said. “(It’s) how can you turn your adversity into positivity to fuel you and get better.”

Just brutal. Holes like that happen from time to time for pro's and it's endearing to the weekend golfer like us, because man can we relate lol. Kevin Na still holds the title for greatest blow up of all-time, and the way he handled it was priceless as well. I was actually watching this tournament and saw it happen it in real time. I instantly became a Kevin Na fan.

RECAP with Na telling the story and replaying the hole.
