it is the failure of the Department of ED, no child left behind, common core math, etc. Burn it all down and start over. But fuck harvard.

Remember this is a school that routinely rejects applicants with perfect SAT scores, multiple AP exams and As in every single class they take. Those outstanding students that get turned down are mostly Asian and some white. Anyone want to guess what race these students they accept who can't handle high school algebra are?

Harvard has long been an excellent law school. They likely have other good programs, but they've long offered degrees in legit fields that they are just bad at teaching.

I went to college for an engineering degree. Had I applied to Harvard, I would have easily got in even as a white male. Their engineering program was well known to be poor, so they had few applications. I went to a much better school. After over 15 years of professional work, I've never seen a resume or employee that got an engineering degree from Harvard. I've spent my career working for some of the largest companies in the world that gets tons of applicants.

That said engineering majors don't take remedial math classes. I'm not surprised, say liberal arts majors, aren't good at math.
