Thats what I thought too.. I didnt like how I had to mount it.. perhaps that's the problem?
yea maybe you were too soft in pushing/screwing down the heatsink to the cpu. I put quite a bit of force on mine especially the screws. have you touched the heatsink coming off the cpu? maybe 1 side isn't pressed down as good as the others leaving an air gap

That might be.. I havent... but the way I had to torque the lines made it feel weird when I was putting it on. I think that may be the problem. perhaps the positive airflow is an issue also, I may have to take out the two front fans and see if they are pushing out the hot air.

if the case/fans are direct from the manufacturer you should be good as far as airflow. im sure they do airflow tests to make it efficient at moving in cool air and pushing out the warm air. i have a full size tower and mine pull in air from the front and then push hot air out the back. if it's not an issue with the pressure/paste then I could maybe see some airflow issue making the whole case a hot box and heating up all components.

I moved two of them and added another not including the fan for the radiator. I know the one on top is bringing air in, as is the one on the radiator. The two up front I cant see the arrows of direction. But I think that's the issue. The graphics card under load doesnt go higher than 55c

hopefully that's what it is otherwise i'd try touching different areas of the heatsink if possible and seeing if some areas are warmer or colder which would indicate a bad connection the the cpu.
