General Heavy Metal Parking Lot 1986

80's were a wild time, wouldn't be surprised. I knew a freshman that was dating a guy mid 20's. No one had an issue with it. Looking back on it now, yeah, that's fucked up.
Hitting HS as a freshman = seniors running through all the 9th grade chicks and sophomores dating 7th graders.
It was a lonely time, lol
It kills me looking back at all the, "metal" we thought was heavy back in the 80s and 90s.

I've admitted before that while I have come to appreciate the beauty of that whole scene, at the time I thought they were all idiots and absolutely didn't understand any of it.
Our HS had a smoking section for students and it was full of tight 501s, black band shirts, and giant flammable hair. Minus well have been a "Chevy Nova parking only" section in the parking lot too... thats where the real action was and where I found neutral ground with bands like DRI and the few who liked Black Flag.
They'd hang out and do metal kid shit, me and me my buddies would skate the curb and bum chew.

I still go to a shit ton of concerts, but now I prefer smaller venues and I do the tailgating at whatever bar is within walking distance of the venue.

Video in OP is depressing. Everyone is so happy and loose. I just watched a 9/11 video on YouTube yesterday where they showed 35 minutes of sync'd footage from before and during the plane crashes. The American Utopia died the moment that first plane struck.
