Back in the forum introductions SCADA @SCADA was giving us some lowdown when i asked homeless infant/drake why he lost his Admin powers at Sherdog. That rapper / exforum administrator never responded to me why. Anyone have the lowdown? It should be note that just before he got fired I think he banned me. He or dragonlord ex or rupert but the ban came from parameters made by drake. If only the wheels of justice had moved along more swiftly I would still have my precious '13 account! Somebody give me the juicy deets.

Probably yes in the MMA section but I was mosty in the political subsection which I will always fondly remember.

As for your original questions - I have no idea. I haven't opened that site in a decade or more, and even if I did I've never really been overly concerned with forum drama.

Yeah don't have a real comment on it. Like you I pretty much only use the fight finder nowadays. Just figured if the site was going to be mentioned here I may as well plug his work.

But they would have to undo my ban. I could never post any other way but how I do, and they would easily detect me and the return would be short . So I respect the ban and stay here for now.

I haven't seen you rustle any jimmies here, but honestly, I haven't been paying much attention either. Switched jobs about a month ago and haven't been able to spend as much time on here unfortunately. Regarding your post about our growth, you make some valid points, but I think there's other contributing factors at play.

Decreased interest in MMA over the past 12-18 months.

Resources to market TMMAC to the masses. It would be nice to have someone like Rogan pimp us on his podcast, like he used to do the UG, or have the Reddit network divert traffic our way for us ...but neither is happening anytime soon from what I can tell.

Saturation. Hell, I think it's impressive that we're even here. How many others have tried over the past 10+ years and failed? Pretty much everyone but us. That tends to be too easily dismissed by some. We're really the only forum to launch over the past 10 years and not get swallowed up by UG, r/mma, Sherdog. I'm thrilled with the fact that we're still seeing new members sign up pretty regularly, with only social media & word of mouth as a way to promote the site.

It is what it is. We're proud of what we've built here. Some will enjoy it, some won't. If people choose to leave because of inside jokes, lack of enough traffic to keep them engaged, or because they miss another forum...that's beyond our control. All we can do is continue to welcome those that choose to sign up, continue trying to provide the best product possible to those that do want to be here, and maintain the laid back friendly culture that's been established. If we continue to do those things, the rest will take care of itself. Those other three forums didn't just launch one day and have the membership they do overnight. This shit takes time, dedication, and hard work...and Splinty and I have plenty of all three.

Fair points. I just think if a thread actually can have some discussion about the topic would help drive traffic rather than half of it being about vutu. People do find forums while googling. That's how I found Sherdog and from there I found OG and TMMAC. Just think chilling on vutu over drive helps the forum.

What makes me an "expert" at rustling is that I'm not actually trying to rustle. Some people just cannot get over that girls have opinions and don't just buckle their beliefs because some guy wants to get nasty about who wins the verbal judo.
