My dad collected everything, so I did too.
I collected many cars as a kid, but Matchbox were the most realistic of the big 3 so I was more proud of that collection.
Although I have some Hot Wheels that are worth some real coin, rare ones in great condition.
They're all in good condition.

If anyone wants to see pictures I'm going through my stuff this month & will take some.

Funny thing about inflation.
There was a kid in line ahead of me in the grocery story buying a car, talking with the checker who was also a collector looking for a specific one himself.
I interjected and asked "how much?"
"$1", they said.
I said "interesting, the only thing inflation hasn't really hit in decades are hotwheels".

I didn't have many hot wheels type toys, I mostly collected Rocks as a kid
I collected everything including rocks.
I tossed the habit when I saw it controlling me.
I'll never toss my rocks, they'll be embedded on my headstone in 10 layers of plexiglass.

I never collected stamps though, I thought that was stupid.
Now I might find it mildly interesting.
Another man's trash...
