I think those are in reference to fictional depictions of children in anime, and the Japanese laws that govern it.This was in the tweets I posted.
Apparently "lolicon" and "shotacon" are big in Japan. Just learned about it looking for context on this tweet. Alison Rapp wrote a thesis on it, and that's what this tweet is referencing.

I wouldn’t blame ‘the gays’ for this. There were a lot of gay guys who expressed their disgust with that article on Twitter and in other media.
The gay dudes I know find sexualizing children as apprehensive and vile as I do. It’s the media that is pushing them into a group they want nothing to do with.

That being said, because of the overt sexuality on display I would not take my children to a pride parade until I thought that they were old enough to understand what was happening and they would be able to realistically process the answers to questions they had about what was going on.
Promoting exposing kids to any kind of sex or violence at an age when they do not understand what the fuck is going on should not be celebrated.

Most of you guys are regurgitating your fathers or grandmothers arguments that basically boil down to "think of the children!" Connecting gays with danger to children and then making leaps to "left media" and pedophilia is pretty retarded and is an argument that's been made since the Victorian times. Pride parades aren't necessarily a place for kids because they're really for adults and can carry adult risks, just like any protest or outdoor demonstrations. Unfortunately Pride has become this commodified mess where it's basically gone from radical action through visibility to a kind of Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade lite. It's boring and predictable and basically McActivism these days. It's worth preserving because the old days aren't that old and it's nice to celebrate that they're gone, but mostly it's lost all of its teeth except in old people's imaginations.
