That is Bayshore Boulevard and it floods with pretty much every storm. I wouldn't call it a major highway. Its mostly for rich people to get to their house and to get to MacDill. With that being the least utilized road to get to MacDill.
Just NW of Tallahassee here, getting TS level wind right now. It came in SE of us so we got the less damaging side. Power blipped a few times in the past hour or so, otherwise making out OK here. Hate it for the folks where it came ashore and those still in its path, but where it made landfall is relatively sparsely populated compared to Tallahassee and the surrounding area.
NC and TN are getting hammered with flooding. Crazy.

Pretty sure some of these locations were thought to be above maximum flood plain.

Entire towns wiped out with houses floating thru fields and down rivers. Thousands of people losing everything they owned. Some tragic shit.
