I have no answer for you. You've made up the entire situation, and seem bent on proving some point that's completely beyond me.
What on earth did I make up? I am asking for what WMU you stated that camping wasn't allowed. Here is your post.

"Most public land around here that allows hunting doesn't allow camping, and vice versa. Having said that, fuck camping."

You are being strangely hostile And I dint understand why?

I sometimes hunt on public land in 66A. That public land isn't crown land, and they don't allow camping.

Hence my saying you made the situation up.

WTF

You need a permit to camp on crown land in Ontario!

That's really reaching, in my opinion. You clearly understood what I was referring to and had the opportunity to explain yourself more thoroughly rather that come at me like you did.

Thought we were cool?

Card to explain the 66A situation?

Here in Alberta, crown land is public land unless it's leased by an oil company. I can pull up a trailer, set up a makeshift shooting range, drive my quad, and drink rum by the campfire all without a permit.

I was asking about the public land in 66A that you hunt on that isn't crown. Like I explained earlier, here in Alberta Crown Land is public land accessible to the public. We dont need a permit to camp! (WTF) It's the queen's land and she's cool with it unless it's leased by an energy company. Even then, in many instances the company will let you camp if there is no H2S or explosion risk. Some companies even let hunters onto their leases.

It's a large forest that's owned and maintained by the municipality in which it resides.

You guys have a strange situation going on there.
Dense populations = heavy use. It's easier for the feds to just make taking care of the land someone else's problem.

In general the public area hunting around here sucks because of how much activity there is on the land.

Why didn't you just say that instead of trying to make me look like a dick?!

I always thought crown land was federally owned until tonight. You are right about them not wanting the responsibility. I need to find out about around Alford Lake.

"The largest class of landowners are the provincial governments, who hold all unclaimed land in their jurisdiction in the name of the Crown (Crown Lands). Over 90% of the sprawling boreal forest of Canada is provincial Crown land.[3] Provincial lands account for 60% of the area of the province of Alberta,[4] 94% of the land in British Columbia,[5] 95% of Newfoundland and Labrador,[2] and 48% of New Brunswick.[6]"

In my initial response to your question of why it isn't viable I said that around here most of the public hunting land doesn't allow camping. I honestly couldn't have been more direct than that.

FWIW, I believe all crown land is federally owned. It's just provincially managed. Kind of like how I'm responsible for the bottom half of my lawn, but the city can come and take it from me anytime they see fit as it's technically theirs and they just let me use it. In the case of Limerick (the forest in 66A) it's actually owned by the county.

You didn't elaborate at all. It took me 50 posts to get it out of you!!

We fight everything out here. That's why I was asking where. Just this week we dusted off our pitchforks, lit our torches, and burned another Notley effigy (joking).

Shouldn't you already know most of what you need to know before you actually bring a gun into your house?

In order to legally own in Canada you will in terms of regulations, safe handling, and basic operation.

As a hobby, it is a lifelong learning process.
