That’s what the doctors have concluded anyway.

Woke up 4 weeks ago yesterday with double vision. I’ve had an MRI w/ contrast done to rule out a brain tumor or tumor on the pituitary gland.

I’ve had blood work done multiple times. Nothing alarming there. Blood pressure is also good.

So they’ve concluded I had a very minor stroke that impeded blood flow to my left eye, which caused paralysis of my nerve and has caused that eye to want to cross which is causing the double vision.

They don’t know for sure but suggest it was likely brought on by stress (work has me really stressed) and a tiny tiny blood clot.

I’m seeing an eye specialist next month for a second opinion. For now, I have a prism tape over my left glasses lense and have to wear my glasses all the time to have single vision. They say my eyes should learn to work together normal again and correct themselves, but it could take up to 6 months. If not, I’ll need surgery.

TL;DR - my vision is fucked

I got on blood pressure medication lat year they had to keep checking all my organs because when your BP is high you can have kidney failure or a stroke or both and that all becomes a catastrophic dominoes affect that leads to cardiac failure. This is stuff they should really teach us in middle school.

Update: woke up Monday and double vision close to me was better but still had it far away. Tuesday it got a little better. Yesterday much better. Woke up today and it’s completely back to normal. I appreciate everyone here wishing me well. So thankful that it corrected itself. That was some scary shit.

Nope. Thankful to the man upstairs for that. Been giving blood every 8 weeks, to make sure my hemoglobin count stays in range and taking a baby aspirin daily to keep the blood thin.
