Needed a new jigsaw. Since all my shit is Dewalt now, I ordered a Dewalt jigsaw off Amazon.
After I ordered I noticed that it would be TWO weeks.
Fuck that. Canceled order.
Found out that Ace Hardware has a deal, 2 free batteries with purchase. Those things aren't cheap.
So I bought it online and then drove over to pick it it up.
"Saved" about $150 on the package. Saw was $20 more at ace, batteries list for $179...
Not sure if it's online only or how long it lasts, but if you're going to buy anyway this is the deal right now.

Welp, I am in the hospital for the next couple of days. The infection might be in my foot bone...they just did a MRI but I could nor stay still because of foot pain. I am pretty scared and haven't been in a hospital since my tonsils removal. The nurses are alright and obe of the doctors is straight up guy.

I did two test today. The MRI and a TEE test.
They have me on morphine shots and oxycondone pills every few hours.
I do not like morphine,it makes me sick and high.
The doc wants to explore up thru my groin with a scope,I declined strongly with a no...but it is hard to stay coherent with the drugs. My wife is concerned scared,so she is not thinking clearly. I told the Doctor I would want another opinion before that kind of invasion. So they did the CT dye scan instead which I think was more appropriate. The CT Scan tech wrapped my feet together with ace bandages and they are still throbing..I had just had a shot of morphine so maybe she thought I could not keep them still. I would have done the scan then got a shot for the pain..it is the little issues like this that make me hate hospitals.

The DRs are not sure why the heart is throwing blood clots or whatever,or if that is what it even is.
I will let you all know when I get better information. I barely remember how many days I have been here.
the staff is super nice in Critical Recovery and I have my own room so I can fart out loud without laughing.

Ask about genetic clotting issues.
There's weird rare shit like pit viper syndrome (it's a real thing, former boss had it) that are hard to diagnose unless you are specifically looking for it.
Right now they are ruling out "simpler" reasons, and they might find it, before they start going Dr House and looking for shit hardly anyone ever has. Thats just how medicine works, it's basically the Sherlock Holmes method, eliminate the impossible (you're probably not pregnant, no recent traumatic injuries, etc..) you have to assume the improbable is true until proven otherwise... takes time sometimes.
Ask for something different than morphine if it's fucking with you. Maybe tramadol won't make you nauseated. Hell, ask for a nerve block.
YOU are in charge, their job is to explain things clearly so you can make informed decisions. Don't be intimidated and don't feel bullied, it's easy as a busy provider to forget there are human beings attached to the parts and pieces they work on.
Last thing, the exploratory they want to do through your groin isn't nearly as gnarly as you probably think it is. It IS invasive, but its the least invasive way to get in there.
Besides, a bruised crotch will take your mind off the foot
