I've seen videos in another country (Thailand maybe?) where bags get weighed and if they are over, people start unpacking and layer pants and shirts on until the bag weighs the right weight, then they get beyond the weighing station and take all the layers off and put them back into their bags. LOL
Lol, sounds about right.
At my first airbase the total personal load out was 215. With my helmet, boots, jacket, flightsuit, and all the shit in those 18 pockets, plus my personal survival kit. I had to drop from 215 walking weight to a legit everyday sub 195 or I wasn't flying/working.
Weight and balance matters.
Its amazing these smaller commercial flights don't crash more often.
