Michael “Trapper” Eaton, age 76, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, January 16, 2020, in his home in Vickery, from complications from C.O.P.D.

He was born November 22, 1943, in Murfreesboro, TN, as Michael L. Burns, then his parents divorced and his mother married Bruce Eaton. He went to elementary school in Bristol, CT; junior high school on Catawba Island, then back to Bristol, CT for high school. He spent one semester at the University of CT. Agricultural School.

Mike worked at New Departure/Hyatt in Bristol and Sandusky. He also worked at Thunderbird Hills Golf Course and finally at Cedar Point in landscaping for 32 years, retiring in 2005. His biggest passions, besides sex, was trapping, hunting, and fishing. He was a member of the Ohio Trappers Association, National Trappers Association, Alabama Trappers Association, Predator Control Association U.S.S.A, and one of the founding members of the Connecticut Trappers Association. He also belonged to Ducks Unlimited, Delta Waterfowl, Waterfowl U.S.A. and the Sportsman Alliance.
