Yeah the dark theme isn't great on mobile. Everything kinda blends together. I switched back after five minutes

How do you change it? The disappearing menu-bar is the thing that is the most negative imho, since it also makes you having to scroll up on new posts when you go into a thread. Apart from that dark is where its at.

It's changed on the back end. I will put the it back fixed like normal based on this feedback so far :)

It was a first run. Maybe some more contrast will help. But too much is eye strain. If you visit a site that you like the dark theme, feel free to post here and I'll use the color contrasts as inspiration to find that functional vs aesthetic happy medium.

Fixed or appear on scroll are the options. We've using fixed as it keeps the interaction more app like and consistent. But it does use up some of the screen.

I put the different function to get this very input. Seems we should just leave it the way it is?
I prefer it being there. But maybe that's just out of habit too. I'm strictly a desktop user. I can see where screen real estate makes sense for mobile.

Can auto-hide be enabled responsively when the the screen size is so narrow?
