We are pretty much in complete agreement here.
As for legislation that killed small business like FATCA...
The US government tells the whole world to go FATCA themselves
Its basically the legislation the Dems went around scaring the public that all these business owners
were evading taxes by keeping money in foreign bank accounts. Which is damn near impossible for the
average business to do unless of course you have Billions and access to political favors.
Without getting too technical Obama basically signed legislation that required any bank outside the US
that had American Citizens banking there to enter into a one way (only other countries had to share their info
The US would not share back) information sharing agreement about that citizen to the IRS.
It required all banks in other countries to report on all activity of US client transactions to the IRS.
Now these banks in other countries had 2 choices.
Option A: Jump in bed with the United States IRS and be under constant scrutiny at the threat of
being banned from the International Financial sector.
OR...
Option B: Fuck it. Just close all US Based owner customer accounts and not serve them
They chose option B of course and over night if you had an import export business or a
venture capital business conducting commercial real estate investments abroad
you woke up one day to a letter that simply said...
"We no longer serve US Citizens you cant conduct financial transactions here anymore.
Your accounts have been closed."
I kept the letters I got so I can look at them and remember just how crooked the system
is and what lengths Obama would go to
As a result I lost everything. Business, House, cars... well actually I kept my truck
and ended up homeless and sleeping out of it for 7 months before I got back on my feet.
This was the 2nd time I lost a business and went homeless and it almost broke me mentally
but it was the first time a politician did it to me.
