I don't know what the big deal is.
It's exactly like walking, only you're putting your feet on peddles instead of the ground, then coordinating those peddles in conjunction with a steering column to direct you, and reading gauges that are detrimental for optimum performance, keeping in mind there are several others going to many different locales at varying speeds, while obeying posted laws, limits, warnings, directions, markers, and signage.
While of course keeping an eye out for pedestrians, animals, speed traps, road conditions whilst being alert at all times to various possible unknowns.
I mean there's a radio, but that's negotiable if you just leave it alone.
