I respect the war of attrition and the phys therapy must of been brutal but he's kind of a blockhead for getting his draws stuck on the tracks. If you wanna do something nice on Christmas, pay the pros to do it for you.

I didn't watch the whole thing but it's my understanding that it was actually his equipment.
On his way out his leg or something flipped the switch for forward movement.
It was then on a collision course to go Smash! his family so he tried to save them by jumping up on the tracks and getting on the door like Hawkeye, And it ran over him.

His recovery has spawned hope.

Some ppl should not be around any power equipment or power tools

these ppl are usually easy to spot but there are a few that’ll fake it until they do something this stupid

Ok since I femaled my truck last week, I'll give him that juan. I left my truck on drive after a long day and stepped out and had to chase it before it plowed into the neighboring client's cars.

I still have my legs, though.

Yeah, I almost did the splits. Pulled myself up with the wheel. I was exhausted. Never happened before. Luigi was there and he was freaked out not laughing like I'd suspect.

Two worst were- Guy got dragged over a cattle guard where his lower legs went in and got shredded. Survived but probably wished he didn't.
Second was a lady who tried to jump back in when her rig started rolling back. Got smashed between her door and a light pole. We worked the shit out of her but she was dead before we even arrived.

Definitely an "oh, shit you dumbass!" self realization moment. Went at slomo which is a real thing I've faced a few times. Felt for a second I could go under the DOTCH RAM and that'd be my story.

The actor who played Chekov in the new Star Trek movies died like that.

That's partially Jeep's fault. I have the same shifter in mine and they only used it for 2-3 years. It doesn't work like others so it's fairly easy to think you're in park and your not

My shifter is fucky, too. I'm getting a new old DAWTCH, this week. Gotta take the ladder rack and midget steps from the old old DOTCH off to put em in the new old. She's getting retired, boys.

a vehicle is still not worth dying over though, you aint going to stop it and are gonna lose
Idk if there's even time to possibly think in that type of situation. I'm little but stubborn and don't have much flight in me. I was 90ft in the air on a lift once and a decent sized branch pinched my stupid old saw that is broken, now. I could've let it go and was getting chicken winged a bit and could've easily been pulled down but I just held on and wrestled the branch off. It was dumb but there was no time to actually think. Hindsight, I should've let go cause that saw gave out shortly after lol. It was in the middle of doing an 80+ tree job so fatigue definitely plays a factor and makes you dumber than usual.

I stopped a 3.5 million helicopter from rolling into a wooden fence one time.
It was stupid & coulda made a medic kabob but I couldn't just stand there and watch it happen. I was barely holding it in place til others got after it too and then it was fine, but I had about 12" between the boom and a fence post. Was 30' away when it started rolling. 100% pilots fault and he just stood there.
