Dolce got him to weight for the Lawler fight he lost. He showed up to training camp weighing 218 lbs. That was the last time Hendricks worked with Dolce. Here's Dolce's take on Hendricks's missed weight cut and he clearly explains Hendricks lives an unhealthy lifestyle in between fights.

Mike Dolce: Johny Hendricks' UFC 192 weight cut was 'a comedy of errors' - MMA Fighting
Interesting, I wonder if there was something other than his diet that worries MikeDolce @MikeDolce so much. He sounded truly concerned for Hendricks wellbeing.

That's funny because when it was on his watch it wasn't Johny's fault, it was some guys at the gym.

“Unfortunately, while we were in the hot tub, and the scale was unattended, attendees of the gym were hopping on and off of it. We think the scale might have been damaged because the weight started reading inconsistently.”

Oh, and the guy doing the weigh ins.

“I felt that he would have and could have been on. In looking at the scale, it was 170.5. The commissioner said 171.5. I don’t know how correct that was; maybe my angle was bad or theirs was. But there’s no doubt that Johny was going to make weight.”

Amazing how the blame shifts when the guy isn't paying him anymore, isn't it? I asked him here point blank, about a month ago what it was like working with Johny. Not surprisingly there was no answer.
Clearly Dolce is the one who needs some diet advice and self control.

As opposed to the picture of health on the right in this picture.

That's a great point. If you look good with no shirt on, whatever you said most recently about a situation automatically becomes the truth. I'm convinced.

It would be a fairly shitty thing to do to talk about a client on an internet forum don't you think?

There is a difference between looking good and looking like a fan posing with an athlete.

Hendricks beard is obviously bias, it the man's beard for Petes sake
Sure we're all bias, I'll fight to the death on behalf of any Irish fighter, lord help anyone who talks shit on Mark Hunt, Ronda, either Diaz Lawlor, Condit, Dillashaw, or JJ either.

Just a quick visual that I found amusing. Here is a Lightweight standing next to a Welterweight.

Does the UFC penalize fighters financially that dont make weight? That could be another incentive if there was that possibility to not get fined.

My place of residence not withstanding, he isn't a client, and it hasn't stopped him from talking about other former clients in the past. He had no issue airing out Johny once he missed weight.

Food for thought:

With Dolce:

Without Dolce:

Clearly he fucked up large this time around, but it's kind of ridiculous that people's first instinct is "Make him hire Dolce!!!"
These guys need dietitians not nutritionists, there's a very big difference.

This is nothing new here, why are you showing me? Food for thought I think good...

I never said he should run back to Dolce...

"dietitians not nutritionists there's a very big difference"

The point of the pictures was simply to illustrate that contrary to some other people's assertions. Dolce, and discipline don't go hand in hand. Sometimes guys have a nutritionist and don't give a fuck. Sometimes they don't and keep their weight in check anyways.

He should still get his shit together, he has five good years left in him, maybe, he should try doing his best for once...
100% agree. He should hook up with a good dietitian and an S&C coach to sort out a routine that'll keep him closer to his weight he needs to be.

The fact that Johnny doesn't give a fuck is not on Dolce though... Lots of others get on fine with him.

We're starting to hear more and more stories that's not the case, but in this instance it's irrelevant. Hendricks best, recent cut came without the aid of Dolce.

Ye I thought it was clear I was of the opinion Dolce is not an issue, Johny is the issue.

if the opponent decides to fight the fatty...then the fatty gives up whatever percentage of the purse. not sure what goes down if fatty doesn't fight.

See about half way down Tyron's right leg? Where it looks like there's a fold of his jeans sticking out near the back of his thigh? Yeah, that's not a fold. It does weigh about 15lbs though.

hendricks is a grown man...and should be making intelligent grown man choices about what he stuffs in his milk dud hole.
maybe he's depressed that he lost the belt...and is eating his feelings.

he's gonna get cut from the ufc and snatched up by my 600lb life.
