Cyborg with the baseball skull crunch from MVP. It wasn't my eyes, it was the crack we all heard in the arena. i'll never forget it.

Honestly, I love Mercedes. She's as smart as she is hot. Honerable mention - Amy Jane (officialAmyJane on IG).

nice judicious, professional answer on the Tyson corner question!

For something more serious and basic - how did you get into the game? Did you train/fight, and also do you work boxing as well?

I was a medical specialist in the Army which gave me my base as far as the medical side goes. Ive trained in a lot of martial arts since the age of 12 or so, from TKD to Hung Gar to BJJ and USA Boxing.

I was training and working in the medical field, to combine the two and leave a job in the operating room that I didnt particularly care for seemed obvious.

Gonna be launching a podcast in the next couple days. Really want to do a show with an mma ref, cutman, and a doctor in the near future. Would you be down to be a guest?

Did you rub Jimmy Smith's toothbrush on your nutsack before he left the office?

I imagine you're better placed than most to form an opinion on whether a fighter should answer the bell for the next round. Has there ever been a situation where you've been genuinely afraid for a fighter going into the next round?

He wishes. Although I do admit that his new fancy UFC fans dont seem to get that we've been doing this Frenemy thing for 7 years now and they're being a little overprotective on twitter, lol.

If I dont think a fighter can or should continue I always tell the doctor. I've done this on a few occasions, most recently at bellator 185. Id rather not say who but the fight was stopped.

Epi/adrenaline
Is that what they put in Forrests head to stop that gusher of a cut that he had vs Shogun rua?

thought what one would be stopped via cut and blood in eyes and then they stuck a entire gauze soaked in something in to his gash and it stopped bleeding almost completely, went from can't see shit captain I'm taking punches to Ok lets go.

Is there a limit to how much or where/when you can apply that stuff?

That's the stuff. We use it in a concentration of 1:1000. It's been a pain in the ass to get lately too, plus the price has gone up from about 30 bucks for a 30ml multi-dose bottle to near $150. Its causing some of the cutmen in the regionals to use more stuff like quick aid, which works a little, but not nearly as well as epi.

No limit to application that I know of, anywhere there's bleeding its allowed.

seems unfair to me...changes the outcome in some cases...lost me some money on that Rua fight I still think..Forrest was totally hindered by blood in eyes and the gash

But I get that it can prevent more damage from a guy not being able to see.

Plus you gotta have a job so I will let it ride

You're pretty much describing the Japanese model. You'll notice that Rizin doesn't really have Cutmen ringside, as cuts are pretty much auto stoppage. The cutmen they do bring in are almost exclusively for wrapping hands.
