I haven't heard about this before, but fx is fox owned, which owns the rights to the x-men. The marvel logo and the xmen logo seem to confirm this in my mind.

The character Legion is the insane son of Professor Charles Xavier.

Great premiere episode it is basically mr.robot with mutants,crazy cinematography ,music, you never know if what the main character is seeing is what is actually happening.

They spent some money on this show for sure. Special effects were great. I liked the first one I'm curious to see where this goes.

I didnt understand alot of what was happening. Felt like you had to know the story of the character before even watching it. If they start jumping arond in time im definitely done with it. Going to give it one more episode to see if it becomes easier to understand.

2 things they left out of that Top 15 list are:

1. He is a retread of the FAR SUPERIOR "Proteus" storyline.
2. He suffers from the same "Omnipotence" disorder that Marvel and DC have devolved into over the past 25 years.

This show is really blowing me away. Noah Hawley is something else. First Fargo, and now this. If you aren't watching it, you owe it to yourself to, at least, give it a try.

It's quite good but I would rather it was released on Netflix. That way you could watch it all in a week. It got picked up for a second season so I think I'll wait on that one to finish before I start watching it.

I feel like every three episodes could be condensed into one as far as plot goes. I enjoy the risks they are taking with the style aspect and suspect I would like it more if I still got high. Legion on acid would be insane.

I couldn't disagree more. Each episode has had me transfixed until the credits roll. While there is a lot of style, I think it's been necessary to build up the characters rather than rush the storyline along. Too many TV shows try to rush things stuffing in as many cheap thrills as possible, while the best ones build up the characters and make you care.
