Alright, regarding frames. I'll let Splinty get into the details because I don't know a whole lot about it, but here's what I do know. Frames are a pretty outdated way of doing forum design (per my discussion with Splinty), and it would require a lot of custom coding to accomplish (per my discussion with Splinty). So to be totally honest and transparent, it's likely not something we'll do here.

Now, with that said. I'll inform everyone of something that's recently been going on behind the scenes. We're in the process of redesigning the site on a different software. Why would you do that when this place is just now becoming awesome, you ask? Again, I'll let Splinty go into the details...but here are some reasons:

1) this software is limited in how far we can take it, with regards to features, add-ons, custom apps, etc.

2) the new software has a TON of new features that will address a lot of the requests folks have made here. A big one is, automatic updating and notification when someone makes a new post to a thread. A perfect of example of how that will improve things is, you will no longer have to refresh fight threads. You'll simply be in the thread, and see a pop up that says "I Wild Each It just made a new post", you click that and the new posts will appear. It's going to make fight threads a much more enjoyable experience. There are just a ton of cool features on the new software, that this one doesn't have. Too many to list really.

3) It will be faster. This software has a bit of a lag...like when someone makes a post, it might take a few seconds to show up. Or if you like a post, it may take a few seconds to execute it. The new software won't have that.

There is more but I'll let Splinty make a thread on it, when he gets it all ironed out. He's in the process of redoing the design, then he'll transfer everything over, and then we'll do the switch at a time when there isn't much going on in the MMA world. But trust me, there will be no other MMA site out there that will offer members what we do, when this is done.

The look of the site will be the same, the chat will roll over, the threads and karma will all roll over, etc. Really nothing will change, except the number of features we will be able to offer.

That is an example of our commitment to providing you all the best product possible. So please, stick around, post more often, create new content, etc. This place is going to be awesome when it's all said and done.

I Wild Each It and Splinty have a done a freaken bang up job on this forum. For a forum that's barely 2 months old they have done a fantastic of job of getting everyone together and created place where we can discuss mma and off topic items without people resorting to putting each other down and with vulgar comments and simple trolling. Also the fact that this forum will have moderator accountability is also great. No more suspensions and bans by mods lurking the shadows pretending it wasn't them. When something is wrong on the forum, Splinty fixes that thing up in a matter of days not years. And the dude is working by himself in the coding process. Hes not getting paid 100k a year to just sit back and not take any accountability.

I dont think this forum should compare itself to other forums that have been around for much longer because this is its own place and through time will grow. Its tough to compare to other places that have been up for 15 years. In 2 months that is a plethora of great positive users here that help one another instead of putting each other down because they are anonymous on the internet. So I raise a glass of root beer to the fine people here that make it what it is! Lets hope this place continues to grow with more cool people and discussions!

For a forum that's barely 2 months old they have done a fantastic of job of getting everyone together and created place where we can discuss mma and off topic items without people resorting to putting each other down and with vulgar comments and simple trolling.
