No feathers?

I thought that the latest thinking was that T-Rex had a covering of proto feathers or some shit.

Maybe I'm just out of the loop.
Based on current scientific understanding, it is likely that T-Rex had at least some covering of "protofeathers," meaning a thin layer of feather-like structures, especially when young, due to fossil evidence showing its smaller ancestors with such features, although direct evidence of feathers on adult T-Rex remains limited; most scientists believe a fully grown T-Rex likely had mostly scales with potential patches of feathers for display purposes.
