I've always known this. But imagine if they didnt lie to everyone. If a politician just stood up there and said hes going to help his corporate donors and his old school buddies.

Something like "I honestly dont care about any of you. But I have to pretend to care or nobody will show up to vote. I'm gonna try to slide through my personal agenda or agendas that were bought and paid for. Then after I leave office I'll write a book and do "paid speeches" or lobby for the top bidder"

I'll admit it would be funny
