Bisping is just trying to get the biggest money fight he can, which is the nature of the fight game now. In my opinion Rockhold is the best middleweight on earth, if he gets in there with him twice he isn't afraid to fight anyone.
If you were champion and you could fight a guy who is 100 times less dangerous then the top contenders and makes you 100 times more money.... That is a pretty easy equation to figure out

Exactly, and he is like 37 or 38? Of course he is going to pick his fights carefully. I'd like to see him fight legit contenders though.
Thing is, this is what you get when you have Conor doing whatever the fuck he wants, why wouldn't other champs?
That's an outlook that won't ever be unanimously agreed upon. I like to think that majority of the best fighters or anything that can be turned into a completion would like to actually test themselves against the best. I can't see a ton of fighters dedicating so much time and effort getting hammered on in training look for the easiest path.
What other champions called for title fights with guys out of the top ten, retired or lengthy time of or from a lesser weight division when they haven't defended or cleaned out their own division yet?
