From a purely historical perspective, they most certainly did not get their asses handed to them. That war went on for four long years and is the deadliest war in the history of this country.

The south lost because of numbers and lack of resources, but more union soldiers died than confederates because southern generals and southern soldiers were simply superior.

He's the prime example of the SJW double standards and people not really meaning them. When the me too movement started he shit canned someone in his caucaus because of an allegation. "It doesn't matter when it happened, and there's never an excuse. We must believe all women." When he was accused he flatly said the story was made up because the author said the woman wanted to remain annonymous. Then the woman came forward and he explained "Well, I don't remember it happening that way." Then there was the blackface incident. Did I say incident? I meant at least 3. There was also the whole firing the justice minister because she wouldn't drop brobery charges against a company that donates a lot of money to his party. That minister was the indigenous woman he brought on because strong women and equality. She was promptly replaced by someone more compliant. This all occurred in the 6 months leading up to the last election. What did the left do? Voted him back in, that's what they did.

Oh, he also marched against systemic racism. He must not realize he is the system.

I don't live in the southeast U.S. it means something very different there than it does the rest of the world. I've seen people here who fly it, and they have no idea what the fuck it means.

I saw this last November. A little over an hour from where I live. Very backwoodsy. But it was federal swampland. These guys were hog hunting with dogs. The game wardens (wildlife police) would even never think of asking them to take the flag down.

According to the U.S. government, middle easterners and north africans such as egyptians are white now. Completely aside from the actual debate as to whether white jesus should be replaced with someone with a little more color (which has been an argument for a long time, and is not new with this blm movement), in all of the political motivations that crossed my mind about the list of peoples they consider white now, it did not occur to me before seeing this that there could be another long-term goal there of considering jesus to have been white. I have no idea if anyone in the government is smart enough to plot that, but if it came out that it was the plan, it would not be surprising to me.

Many southerners (probably like the ones in the photo I posted above) see it as a source of southern pride. But come on. They know how it's perceived by everyone who doesn't see it that way.

I don't even know what my point is though. Nascar fucking sucks.
