Bj sacrificed cardio for size against Machida, was still outweighed by 35 lbs and went to a decision. What you got next? Remember when BJ went up weight classes and won titles?
If you think that I'm going to compare McGregor with BJ, you must be crazy :) There is only one BJ Penn.

So he's ducking Mayweather now? The only fight I'm interested in is him defending that 145 belt. Ducks Frankie to fight Nate, Nate beats that ass wants a rematch. Ducks Nate for more money and gets offered boxing match with Mayweather to make his red panty night possible. Ducks this now to get a fight with Diaz God knows when. Also does Danny come off like Cerberus to you guys as obsessed with Conor like the later was with Ronda? Guess it could be worse he could start to accuse Nate of being on the sauce.

guess conor totally forgot that nate had no training and no sparring for this fight and admittedly took the first rd off.

That's the thing though, he doesn't have to keep up with Diaz's volume. NOBODY can keep up with Diaz's volume. What you do is chop his legs out from under him and engage only on your terms. Diaz's whole style is to get guys angry and have them come out swinging and wasting energy. Michael Johnson fell into that trap, as did many other guys. You come out and play Diaz's game and you'll lose: he has a head like iron, he can absorb a lot of head shots.

Conor will make his energy work for him next time and win, this I gaurantee.
LOL win? Diaz gonna accept a dive?

That makes sense. I have not fought before, so I am unaware what the difference in size does in MMA. I would imagine the difference in height is more important, and that's the same no matter what they weigh.
You need to be in the same weight class. So if Diaz is 171 or under, he's welterweight. If McGregor is 155.1 or over, he's also welterweight.

McGregor WAS done. In two rounds, to a guy with no camp. And he knew it at the post fight press conference.

Cabo Nate took more shots than he should have due to lack of camp. Full camp Nate will mangle him even worse.
The shots Nate drank in Cabo took more out of him than the shots he took against conor

(Conor) should have followed the RDA blueprint of putting money in the bank with leg kicks and body shots. Being conservative and only engaging on his terms. RDA did that beautifully for the most part, and Conor has the physical tools to execute that blueprint even better imo.
Conor has never shown he can use leg kicks in fact with his stance he can't use leg kicks. you're reaching. Conor and RDA are completely different fighters.

RDA is a BJJ guy who worked his ass off to become well rounded and has had to use crafty gameplans to win against more gifted fighters and his kicking game consists of hard round kicks not worrying about the takedown; Conor is an incredibly gifted fighter who is used to walking down and KOing guys quickly. his kicking game is deprived of round kicks and he has got to constantly worry about the takedown;

Uhh... why not? You don't have to be in a traditional muay thai stance to throw a leg kick.
Conor uses a wide, bladed stance that's optimal for throwing his lead leg kicks and spinning kicks with the rear leg and awful for throwing and checking low kicks.

Conor McGregor might be putting the Floyd Mayweather Jr talk on hold.

Though there has been much talk recently about the possibility of McGregor boxing Mayweather, it seems he still has his sights set on a rematch with Nate Diaz. Recently, McGregor spoke with ESPN about rematching Diaz and why he wanted to fight at 170 lbs. again.

"What kind of fighter would I be, if I said, 'Hey, I didn't get you at 170, let me try to get you at 155.' I'll make my adjustments. I ate up to the weight. This time, I won't do that."

"The first eight minutes of the fight was easy. Let's be honest, I slapped the head off him. Once the gas tank went, that was it. I drowned. He landed that one punch that rang the bell and went, '[Gasp,] I'm back.' He was close to being done. One or two more shots and he would have been wrapped up."

McGregor said it was his own mismanagement of energy and effective offense which caused him to lose. While many would have expected the fighter coming in on ten days notice to be the one with the cardio issues, it was McGregor who gassed out early. He blames this on his change in preparation when the fight was changed to a 170 lb. contest.

"Swinging on gymnastic rings on fight week isn't the best thing. Usually, I wrap myself in bubble wrap and only do fight-specific things, but just because of that weight, no weight cut, I had put it in my head that, 'I'm free.' I had energy to burn. I was doing so much bounce footwork, the balls of my feet were burned to a crisp. Looking back, it was ridiculous. I don't know what I was thinking."

He threw and connected with a few hard leg kicks in their fight. Granted they weren't RDA-powered, but they were solid and Nate felt them. He was doing well with the teep kicks to the thigh too.

That's also assuming that Conor can't alter his stance if need be. He's an incredible athlete who can switch between southpaw and orthodox seamlessly, I don't doubt he can set himself properly to fire the leg kick.

Nate stands very heavy on that lead leg. Conor learned the hard way that he's not going to take Nate out with one big shot. Unless him and his crew are completely retarded, we will definitely see a much more dedicated attack to the legs and body.
