The UFC doesn't care about having or making stars ever since their ESPN deal. They get guaranteed money regardless if a ppv sells 1 buy or 1 million buys. That's why they were fine having Nunes headline ppv after ppv despite her drawing abysmal numbers.
And now their self anointed biggest star is a Brazilian with no charisma who doesn't speak a lick of English.
The product sells itself. This isn't 2008 where they needed stars. The brand is bigger than any fighter they have, Conor included.
