Its a cardinal rule in wrestling that entrance music has a passive effect. To all in the ring or around said ring are stunned for the duration the entrant is making his down to the ring. Some have stacked fear on top of this.
Case in point, during Team Cena vs Team Authority, the ref could have counted to three while Seth was pinning Dolph. Luckily, Sting’s entrance music hit. Now the 2 minutes that Sting walked to the ring contained exactly 40 pinfalls. Mind you the ref only needed one more count.
This is why Moxley chose to go through the crowd last night. He simply wanted a fair fight.
