I believe you are wrong on both accounts brother

The ice cap on south is at 9,000 plus feet so it is a mountain itself above sea level, lots of water up on that elevated
It just hasn't been ice free for 10,000 plus years, which is interesting since it was on some maps from 500-600 years ago before we again mapped the coastline with modern technology

North Pole is not on land so it is close to sea level, essentially just an ice cub that is chunks up together like gay icebergs.

Climate is changing but it ain't all about melting glaciers, Mother Nature doesn't give a F about your plans or climate needs.

I would love to walk on an Ice Free Antartica, looking into property right now.

Water finds a way, eventually all water gets a chance to swim in the ocean

How do I put this in simple terms? Because frankly this has already taken up more bandwidth than I care to give it.

Sea level rising isn't going to be a population level concern and we've known that for like 15 years.

At my son’s middle school (charter school) I started a rally of students & parents to get a math teacher fired.

The school was in a pinch when they hired her as the last teacher, who was wonderful, was battling cancer & no longer able to teach.

This woman was a Russian immigrant, self described communist & agenda pusher. She would try to push crazy left wing agendas in 8th grade advanced math. She would also not grade, or incorrectly grade, assignments of students that wouldn’t go along with her crap.

Early on I instructed my son to only communicate with her through email when inquiring about assignments. I also emailed her several times when she wouldn’t respond to my son’s inquiries. When she occasionally would get around to a reply, it was some form of a condescending excuse of why she wasn’t doing her job.

I scheduled a meeting with the principal & explained the situation. Showed the principal 2mo worth of ungraded & incorrectly graded assignments as well as all associated emails. Had my son & a couple other students inform the principal of the political agendas being pushed in a math class & her favoritism towards female students & pro-commie students. I was even able to get the 7th grade math teacher to get on board with an audit of grading between students.

After another month or so, I had another meeting with the principal. She stated that they were short staffed but was now sitting in on her classes personally. She wouldn’t comment on much further but said math teacher is no longer employed at that school. She didn’t even show up for the final month of school last year.

My sons now at a different charter school for high school & overall having a great time. His only problem so far is a community college professor that doesn’t respond to emails or school messaging system messages (this charters program was created by UC Davis to have students complete 60-65 transferable units by HS graduation so they take courses with a local community college “feeder” program).

Long story short, it’s just like at work. If you need to have a teacher disciplined or held accountable, you’re going to have to keep records & do a bunch of footwork. I can’t imagine how much extra work it would be with a regular public school.
