I don't think the UFC were for Conor getting it either. Definitely a leverage move by both guys. Conor has the Floyd fight, though, which is a massive payday and that just might be the leverage needed to get the UFC to agree to it. If Diaz could wrangle a Pacman fight he might be able to do the same, but I doubt it.

Agreed. Ive never seen him fight before or even do an interview but Im impressed.

Maybe Fox can bring him on in a year or two when he gets more polished.

After the UFC worked so hard to build up a rivalry between Diaz and Connor if they turned around joined forces and worked together to bring down the UFC's hold on their fighters I would revel in the irony.

It's interesting to me watching this because I'm guessing that Nate Diaz and Gilbert Melendez have probably spent many rounds in a boxing ring sparring with Andre Ward, and here he is interviewing them. I know that Nick Diaz has spent many rounds sparring with him.

He has a chance in the sense that if I was in a boxing match with Floyd and just started screaming 'I'M A HEMOPHILIAC! PLEASE GOD DON'T HURT ME', and lunged at a perplexed Floyd, there is a chance I could headbutt him accidentally and win by a cut stoppage.

It is beyond ridiculous that people even frame it as a 'puncher's chance'.
