Can anyone give me an idiot proof guide on how to get U.S Netflix in the U.K?

I've googled but the ones I've read want me to subscribe to some shit.

After you installed it you see a smiley face flame in the upper right of your browser click on it.
Netflix thumbnail is usually allready there click on that i believe it's auto set to the USA.
If not change country, you know it's working when you see a flag instead of the smileyface flame in the upper rightcorner
