Haha, Artie is the greatest.
it's been 25 years or however long and I've got tears rolling down my cheeks watching this stuff again. one of my very favorite comedy shows of all time. really sharp tv/show biz satire. I wonder what Johnny and Ed thought of it?Haha, Artie is the greatest.

Absolutely, Martin Mull and Fred Willard were one of the slickest comedy teams to bless television. And I must've watched the Tom Waits - The Piano Has Been Drinking clip about 25 times.Of course the other great (public access) talk show parody series was the great Fernwood Tonight from '77.
Happy Kyne and The Mirthmakers!
